ABOUT

The mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights for all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.  We aim to achieve this mission by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.  

The DeSoto County (MS) Branch was established in 1961 and is led by Pastor Robert Tipton, Jr., President.
